In Linux, printing has become quite simple over the years. Assuming your printer is connected directly to your computer, and that you have the right firmware (which more and more often is available through your distribution’s software repositories), then using that printer is as simple as hitting Print in whatever program you’re using, selecting the printer from the list of available printers, and waiting for your document.
